Handcheck.
A concierge service for people whose work is their network

We’re in 2026. Contacts are broken. We make them smarter.

Thousands of names, most of them silent. Titles from three jobs ago, no memory of how you met, no way to ask who could open a door. In ten working days, we turn your address book into a network you can use again.

NDA before any file

One contact, before and after

The same name. A whole story back.

What your phone knows, and what you get back: his career since, where you know him from, who can put you back in touch, and a reason to write today.

Who can put you back in touch
Sofia Nakache worked with him at Lumen for two years.

A reason to write: he joined the board of Fondation Lazare in May.

Sample record. Names and companies are fictional.

To find him, only “Julien Varenne, Groupe Aléa” left your address book. Nothing else.

A real mission

13,000 cards. 3,300 were an old bought directory.

A former chief executive, three decades of contacts. We set the bought directory aside, left out the people he wanted kept out, and rebuilt and dated about 2,600 careers. Then three projects drawn from it: a charity evening, an introduction, a conference for a thousand guests.

What is broken

Your network isn’t dead. It’s just unreadable.

Out of dateTitles

Your contacts still show the job people had when you saved them. Many have moved on since.

ForgottenContext

Nothing says where you know them from, how close you were, or who in your address book could put you back in touch.

Mixed upNoise

Real relationships sit next to directories imported years ago, duplicates, and couples sharing one card. Your phone can’t tell them apart.

What you get

Your network, rebuilt and in your hands.

Every fact carries its source. When we are not sure it’s the same person, we say so and write nothing.

  • Careers, rebuilt

For each person we find, every step of their career, with dates and places. And their face, for the names you no longer picture.

  • Where you know them from

Same company as you in the same years, same city at the same time, same school. The era of your career when you connected.

  • How close you really were

Five plain levels, from a relationship you kept alive to a name with nothing behind it. Your exchanges are counted, never read.

  • Who can put you back in touch

Pairs of contacts who worked together, and the connectors who link the most people in your address book.

  • Who to call again

Real relationships gone quiet, with people whose careers have grown since. And something to say: a new role, a board seat, a cause they champion.

  • Ready for your next project

A charity sale, a product to place, a conference to curate: who to invite, and why, drawn from your own network.

Delivered as a workbook you can filter, a searchable page and a clean address book to import into your iPhone or Google. If you use an AI assistant, your network is set up in it too; you don’t need one. On an old address book we usually rebuild 40 to 55% of the real relationships; the rest come as a list, with the reason for each.

Family and friends count too: their careers are looked up like anyone else’s, professional facts only. Anyone you mark stays out of every search.

What it produces

One question, one document.

Once your network is rebuilt, ask it about a project. Here is an extract of what comes back.

Ask it yourself, any time. If you use an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another), we set up your rebuilt network in it, on your own account. You ask in plain words; it answers with names and the reason for each.

Fictional people, generated portraits, invented companies. The level of detail is real.

Professional facts only, even for a guest list: nothing about wealth, health, religion or legal matters. Family ties only when they explain someone’s place in business.

How it works

Ten working days. Four moments with you.

You send your files, confirm a few faces and names, and get your network back. We do the rest. Fixed price, quoted after the first call: from €1,000, depending on the size of your address book. Three or four useful meetings and it has paid for itself.

Every step, in plain words →
  1. Before we start

    A 30-minute call

Your career, what you want from your network, your constraints. Then a fixed quote.

NDA and GDPR data agreement signed here, before any file.

    Day 0
  2. Your part

    Your files

Your contacts, your full LinkedIn archive, and any old list you kept. Through an encrypted link, never by email.

Your mail is never read. If you wish, exchanges are counted on your own computer.

    Days 1 to 2
  3. Your eye

    What only you can check

Faces to confirm, namesakes to settle, and who matters most to you, in one short session together.

When we’re not sure it’s the same person, nothing is written.

    Days 3 to 6
  4. Your decision

    Review, then delivery

Delivered in person: we do the import with you and ask your first questions together.

Then our working folder is erased, and you get a dated certificate.

    Days 6 to 10
Confidentiality

Your address book is a professional secret. We treat it as one.
